REMEMBER YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR OWN BOOKING AT COOLENDEL FOR THE NIGHTS YOU WILL BE STAYING IN ADDITION TO CONFIRMING YOUR ATTENDANCE ON TEAM APP.

This year we are returning to the fantastic camp ground at Coolendel (west of Kiama). It is a 3-4 hour drive south of Hornsby.

Coolendel is a privately operated camp ground with good amenities, big camping areas, a river for swimming. If you are coming along you will need to book directly with Coolendel https://www.coolendel.camp/

If you are coming along you will need to hit the link above and book and pay your accommodation. Please confirm the numbers in your party for catering purposes.

The trip is officially scheduled for Saturday to Sunday 2/3 November but please feel free to extend your trip for a longer stay is you wish.

Please confirm in the comments if you are planning to head down on Friday – Coolendel does not allow the club to book a specific site to we are ask for volunteers heading down on Friday to stake out space for the club (The Committee have preferences for prime locations).

Mobile service is limited at Coolendel – we ask that when you arrive you check in with the club on Channel 27 to find us in the park. Many will head down Friday afternoon/evening – jump on the radio to find us in the dark when you arrive!!

What to bring:
Bring your tents and camping gear (don’t forget a chair)
Bring a clothes and swimming gear
Bring drinks and drinking water and any food in addition to the meals that the club will be providing (There is a shop at Coolendel but it is very limited – icecream and snacks)
4wd recovery gear

Subject to fire conditions bring a bag of fire wood so we can have a fire to sit around a communal fire on Friday and Saturday nights

4WDing
Nizar will be leading a trip on Saturday (not Monkey Gum). It is not mandatory but should be lots of fun.
The Trip will be heading out at 9 am on Saturday Morning sharp – if you are coming down Saturday – don’t be late!!

You are welcome just to come down for the camping

The club will be providing:
1. BBQ on Saturday Night with Sausages, Steaks, Bread, Onions BYO salads greens and desert
2. BBQ breakfast on Sunday Morning – Bacon, sausage and egg rolls

Volunteers and Contributions
If you can get down on Friday morning and can stake out a spot and guide in the club by radio please confirm by in the comments. We will let you know they preferred locations.

We will be taking down the club BBQs – Please let us know in the comments if you can help to carry gear down and back.

If you have a Gazebo and are happy to bring it down please let us know – we will confirm numbers subject to responses
