Ends: 04:30pm (duration is about 8 hours)

Jackass Hill (also known as Bastard Hill) is a long, steep, rocky, and gravelly climb. It’s near The Pinnacle rocks in the Dark Corner area. We’ll start at Dark Corner, take Blackbutt Mountain Trail and Dark Corner Mountain Trail, then tackle Jackass Hill. We’ll go back via Portland (shorter) or Dark Corner (longer), depending on time and energy.

Difficulty: Medium. The number of vehicles for this trip is small, because it could take us a while to get up the hill. Timi and Andrew are on the trip, as they’ve done the hill before.

Required: Winch, recovery points, lift. Diff locks would be an advantage too.

Meeting point: On Daylight Creek Rd, near junction with Dark Corner Rd: https://maps.app.goo.gl/74u6hSeJ8UUUg9iv9
