I’ll be running a camping/explore trip out past lithgow which will start at lake wallace In wallerawang on the Saturday night for camp.

On Sunday morning We’ll be taking on “the hill” at dark corner. It’s a hill we came across when we were out that way a month or so ago. It was a lot scarier looking down from the top of it but I’ve just seen a video of someone doing a hill climb of it so I know it’s possible to get up.

After that, we’ll do the pinnacle fire trail and weave through the river crossings of the turon river and explore the region making our way to sofala to find camp.

trip duration: Sat 18th June – mon 20th June ( it is easy for people to peel off and go home on the sunday though if wanting to)

Meeting point : Lake wallace, wallerawang ( I’ll be getting there approximately 5pm but feel free to get there anytime you like)

trip rating : intermediate

Mod requirements: 2inch lift minimum, locker/s, winch and snorkel + recovery gear
