Relatively easy tracks close to home.

Start off with a coffee at Wollombi, then short drive to the forest. Entering from Ellalong Rd, via Pelton Rd, to traverse the mud patch. Then we follow the boundary trail around until we are back at the powerlines.. After that we take the exit to Kitchener.

Meeting at Wollombi, Myrtle House Cafe (https://www.myrtlehouse.com.au/) before 8:30, and it’s a 20 minute drive from there. If they are closed, there is another cafe where we can grab coffee.
